But until then I will use it to get bids on My projects:

Why someone would build a 24' x 12' shed with a 36" door is  beyond me... Apparently what to
do after you enlarge the opening for a garage door is also beyond me...

The door is in place but it doesn't open - you have to enter between the studs.

There's only 12" clearance  - the problem seems to be the 7' door and the 8' ceiling that drops to 7"6"

I bought the low headroom kit but couldn't install it myself so I grabbed the phone book and found 5 garage door companies that showed web sites is their ad. On Saturday (11/24) I sent each of them an e-mail and/or filled out their online contact forms with a brief description of the project and a link to this information. Of the five companies I contacted only two bothered to call me back about this project - one of them (All Shore Garage Door) contacted me the same day and I wound up hiring them for the job; the other (Shed Hedz) contacted me on Tuesday or Wednesday after I already hired All Shore Garage Door.

Responded after I hired All Shore...

I dealt with Rich, the owner of All Shore Garage Door, who completed the job on the date promised for the agreed upon price. Rich was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Although this isn't a big project he took the time to answer my questions and get the job scheduled and completed right away. That says a lot about him and his company and I would highly recommend them. Given that I work with contractors all day long that's high praise... Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Now I can take all of my toys out of the garage and put them in the shed where they belong... Next up is finishing the facing and putting up some vinyl siding so it doesn't look like it belongs on Sanford & Sons...
